Our honest read: Season 5 is highly likely to eventually be greenlit (the 'To Be Continued' banner, the film's success, and Vol 17 nearing release all point to it), but with no announcement as of June 2026 and AnimeJapan 2026 having passed silently, a 2026 premiere is off the table. A late-2027 or 2028 broadcast is the realistic earliest window — pending source-material completion (Vol 17 in Sept 2026) and a formal announcement that has not yet happened.
